Sound Gestalt explores the idea that a community is more than the sum of its individual parts through original music, sound, and visual art.  It is an immersive art installation that features four original music and sound compositions that are written to play individually, but also as a combined whole.  Each piece repeats after a different length of time, so the combination you hear will have varying levels of tension and release as the sound progresses.

There are 4 cozy outer pods to hear each piece individually and see the lighting, murals, visual art that goes with it. In the center is an open space to relax and experience the sonic pieces combined, as well as the lighting that evolves with them.

Sound Gestalt is not art for detached viewing, but art you get inside of and immerse yourself within utilizing all of your senses.  Participants can influence the blending of the sounds by their location within the installation.  

This piece is being produced by Bearchilde and is currently in production.  It will be unveiled at Burning Man 2021!
